The Grown-ups
We are very lucky at the Key Stage 2 Teaching Facility to have so many grown ups to help us.
Our class teacher is Mrs Bennett.
The other grown ups that help us are Miss Katie and Miss Sharon Whitney.
Playtime
We have beautiful school grounds and we take turns to play on the playground, apparatus and field.
PE
Children will integrate with their peers for PE sessions.
Forest Schools
We keep our Wellies in school everyday so that we can access the outdoor classroom everyday.
Reading
The children are able to read their books in different ways. They will read with 1:1 support weekly using their reading books and read digital books in school and at home using Giglets.6

We made friendship cards for the residents of Cwrt Enfys and wrote
kind messages from us to them.
Treats of the World
We discussed all the different treats from around the world and what we liked in class.
We created a mind map and researched images and were able to copy and paste.
We read the text ‘The Beauty of Difference’ and looked at our eye colour using English and Cymraeg.

Spring Term 2024
The children brought in a selection of rubbish for homework. They decided as a group how it could be sorted. They thought of a number of different ways of doing this. They then thought of ways to sort the rubbish ready for the recycling.
STEM Valentine’s Lego.
We made Lego hearts for Valentine’s Day. We needed to make sure that each brick over lapped so that it didn’t fall apart.

Playing Games 21/6/22
The children have been practising to play games correctly by taking in turns and sharing through a game of snakes and ladders. The children really enjoyed this activity by playing fair and being kind to each other.
